This part of the Gyrocopter World Tour of Melanie and Andreas went through Washington via Oregon to California, Nevada & Arizona in the United States of America.

After their New Zealand adventure they travelled to Hawaii and then to Seattle, where the gyrocopter adventure continued. They flew the West Coast along famous roads like I-5, Highway 101 & Route 66. As far as the U.S. is called "the land of dreams coming true", the pilot couple interviewed people to their American dream. Melanie and Andreas are deeply impressed and grateful for the hospitality, friendliness and cooperativeness of the Americans they met. And they enjoyed flying the reliable MTOSport gyrocopter from AutoGyro very much. The flight in this gyroplane was even in dramatic weather conditions always smooth and safe. Without all this great support their dream would not have been realized.
 
The photos above document their unique adventure journey from Seattle via San Francisco, Los Angeles, Hollywood and Las Vegas. This adventure will be documented on movie and in book. The objective is to raise funds for the children´s charity organisation "terre des hommes".
